A rehearsal ~誘惑への予習~

We decided to cook some Swedish dishes for our next cooking class, so first I rehearsed it once! This is called “Jansson’s Temptation”. What a captivating name it is! The recipe is easy, all you have to do to prepare is to cut potatoes and onions thinly, get a pack of fresh heavy cream and a tin of spiced-cured sprats. However it’s hard to get the sprats in Japan so I tried Japanese salted salmon instead. I think that worked. The combination of potatoes, stirred onions, salted salmon and fresh cream were really in harmony. Don’t leave out breadcrumbs—they became so crispy and their texture increased the flavor.
